It is exactly as described. It's exactly as described as in it's only 3inches wide my own fault for not reading that part. I was expecting it to be something my husky couldn't pick up in his mouth however he absolutely loves playing with it so that points become moot. He's an aggressive biter e.g.
My dog loves to hear it squeal My dog loves to chew on it to make it squeal. He will also butt it with his nose to make it squeal. Unfortunately he also loves to peel off the yellow fuzz skin.

Fun ball but our aggressive chewer was able to destroy it pretty easily My 100 lb German Shepherd loves balls especially ones that squeak and usually goes through a tennis ball in a few hours. We kept this one up and only used it for fetch but he still destroyed it pretty quickly. I agree with other reviews that this isn't any more durable than a regular tennis ball.
great buy! My pitbull mix loves this toy! When I found it on amazon I thought for the price who cares if he pulls it to pieces. I was shocked to find it has been over a month and the ball is still around and squeeking. He always has it with him.
Not sturdy My two APBTs had this ball in pieces in less than two minutes. This is my second Kong product that did not meet expectations as Kong advertises sturdy products for larger dogs.
Great ball but unfortunately doesn't last Our Labrador Katie loves balls especially if they squeak. The Kong Sqeakairs have been some of her favorites and we have bought half a dozen of them over the past couple of years. It's been half a dozen because as great as these balls are they most definitely have a somewhat short life expectancy. Our Lab isn't brutal on balls as some dogs are. She just likes to run and chase them and then bring them back. She also likes to squeeze them to make them squeak whenever we get her really excited. Otherwise she leaves them alone. She doesn't chew or gnaw on them or try to tear them apart. She doesn't play with them at all unless we are there to play with her as well.Each ball will last anywhere from about one to six months on average. They fail in one of two ways for us. They will come apart at the seams inside the ball or they will stop squeaking. When I say come apart at the seams inside I say it that way because the outside cover remains intact at least in our case. Our Lab is gentle enough that the ball retains its' ball shape. With a more 'vigorous' dog the ball would simply fall apart. They usually won't squeal anymore when this happens because the outer cover isn't airtight but she can get them to squeak sometimes if she squeezes them the right way.When the ball fails due to it stopping squeaking it is almost always because the 'squeaker' has fallen out into the ball. You can hear it bouncing around inside when you shake the ball. Then the ball becomes nothing more than an oversized tennis ball.There are squeaky balls out there that are more durable than this one such as the iSqueak balls but Katie doesn't like them as much as this one so we continue to buy these. I wish they'd make them more durable though. Either that or that I could find a better ball that my dog likes.
New Favorite Toy! My Lab/Heeler mix is a ball playing fool! As a result most anything we buy must be very rugged and so we had resorted to only raquetball solid rubber ones as the tennis ball type never lasted for more than a few hours. I did not expect much from this product Only purchased it to fill out an order and qualify for free shipping. Well over a week later it still looks like new even though she has it out constantly and has been driving me crazy with the squeaker. She just loves it and never forgets where she left it. We will be buying more of these in the future. Also I like the fact that is a bit larger than a regular tennis ball eliminating the risk of choking.
Doesn't hold up I bought this expecting it to hold up since it's Kong brand. That was not the case. Our golden retriever split the ball in half the first day.
