Pretty damn tough
Much safer then tennis balls I will no longer use tennis balls. Most are made in China and may have lead. ALso they wear the front teeth down they act like sand paper. It's true! These balls are nice bounce some but not too crazy to risk torn cruciates. My sheltie LOVES them.
Has held up well so far Some of the edges of this toy are fraying but not terribly. My puppy has been playing with it for about 7 weeks now. He loves it. It's pretty heavy duty but not so heavy duty that he has to play with it outside. We toss it around for him in the house all the time. It also has several places that you can hide treats in. This ball has a very unique pattern to it with several grooves to chew. My puppy is an 8month old chocolate lab who weighs 83 pounds and loves to shred anything he can get his teeth on. He has destroyed 3 toys that claimed to be virtually indestructible within 10 minutes or less. So I'd say that we are very happy with this toy. It was worth the $10 or so that I paid for it. We just bought him the JW Megalast Gummi Bear too and he loves that. It has a cool deeper squeaking sound to it when you squeeze it not the usual annoying highpitched squeaks that most squeaky toys have. So far I like the JW brand.
Worth the money. Honestly my dogs prefer tennis balls. They prefer to kill them strip them of their lovely yellow fur and rip them in to pieces just big enough to be too large for the vaccuum. That said I gave these a try. My pittbull who can shred a kong will chew and chew these. He can't get them apart. The best part is that these balls come in 3 different styles so even my JR can grab hold of one. I have no idea and not sure if I want to know what kind of rubber titanium these are made of. But I can say BEST OF ALL made in a solar powered facility in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! 'Nuf said.
JW Pet Company Megalast Ball Dog Toy When I received the toy I was surprised that the shape was not what was pictured and not happy. I understood the colors may vary. After rereading the description and looking at further pictures it also states that there are 4 different shapes. Therefore it was my misunderstanding that you may not get the shape pictured. Haven't had a chance to see how it works in the pool with my dogs.
Best Exercising Ball for German Shepherds Easy Play! This is our Outside ball and my favorite ProExercising Toy. It is light and easy to throw as well as easy to catch soft and safe I really like to use it so when it can be found then it is used. Nice and bouncy and it seems to stay cleaner? Now if it was up to her my dog would probably prefer actually she has indicated this as her first to bring me her almost same size JW squeaky ball however I'm sure the neighbors prefer this quieter one.
my terrier loves this small ball My little 20 lb terrier mix has a passion for small balls. The AirKong extrasmall are his favorite but he also likes this Megalast blue small ball. I was wary of the Megalast because he is usually not interested in rubber balls/toys like the JW Cuz toys which he could care less about. But he is really enjoying this Megalast rubber ball it has a nice balance of both resistance and give when he chomps on it. He will chase it down and then trot around with it in his mouth chomping the whole time. It looks like it might be good for his teeth too.

First off this is a review of JW Pet themselves and this product not any sellers on Amazon.At first I purchased the small sized ball since my Alaskan Malamute doesn't like playing with a ball larger than a tennis ball. Unfortunately she ripped up the small sized ballmade for small dogs up in 30 mins. I then reluctantly purchased the medium sized ball from Pet Extreme since they did not have the large ball and this ball has held up a little better than the small ball but within 30 mins she was ripping pieces off of the ball but still hadn't ripped the ball apart.
