Fantastic for tough aggressive chewers My two Rottweilers love this toy. It is extremely durable and holds up to two aggressive chewers. I have bought two of these and plan to purchase more. They are great for indoors because of the rubber material doesn't harm the floors or walls. I highly recommend this toy! The West Paw Design guarantee is also fantastic. I have had to send in a toy that was damaged and I received a new one back within 2 weeks.
Destroyed in 35 minutes Tossed my 7year old pitty the indestructible awesome for pitbulls madetolast bone in 35 minutes it was bitten in half. Either my dog has superdoggie powers no other pitbull possesses OR this is a piece of crap that is marketinghyped to make more sales than it deserves. Hmmm I wonder which it is.Do not buy this expecting a pitbull not to gnaw right through it. It will. Yet another overpriced overhyped piece of rubber.
OMG IT'S STILL IN ONE PIECE !!! Like many pet owners I have tried all chewing toys that claim to be the toughest On my visit to Natural Paz I saw thus Hurley deal and I though mmmmmmm. So I googled thoughtest chewing toys for dogs and again I found Hurley !! So I ended ordering it for my 100 lb American bulldog. So far it had lasted 4 days Broke the 30 min record of the jolly ball. I love it and my dog dies too.This company offers a one time replacement or refund if the toy does get all messed up.
Fun toy for 20 minutes My chomper is an 8 month old pit mix and destroyed this toy in under 20 minutes. She loved it when I first gave it to her but it didn't last long. Good thing it has the warranty though.
Would be good if my dog liked it It's an interesting concept and a welldesigned durable toy but my dog is simply uninterested. He is generally unpicky when it comes to toys but this one just sits there unused and unloved.
durable! we bought this for our large pup who is constantly chewing and she has not chewed through this one yet! She even chewed through her kong much to our dismay but this one is completely in tact. That being said it doesn't get alot of play because she knows she can't take it apart but we're glad to have a few toys that last.
A Favorite! This toy is still going strong after several months! We bought the large for our 25lb terrier since larger toys seem harder for him to chew apart. He chews it constantly and he hasn't made a dent in it yet. We've become big fans of West Paw products due to their ability to outlast most other toys on the market. I love that they are made in the USA float and come with a guarantee They will send you a onetime replacement or a refund if your dog damages it. If your dog likes this toy I would also recommend you check out Bumi the Tux and the Huck. Our pup was able to destroy the Zisc and Twiz.
Zogoflex Hurley Received quickly and in excellent condition. This toy has lasted longer than pvc pipe with my dog an avid chewer. An excellent choice for fetch or just chewing.
Best Dog Toy Ever! Our 18 month old lab/terrier has destroyed every dog toy she's been given but not the Hurley. Better yet she loves this toy. She'll sit around chewing on it and will carry it around with her. After six months there are a few teeth marks. We have a few other West Paw toys this one is the best.
Most durable toy yet I have a very strong chewer and this toy has lasted at least 2 years! Including being used as a water fetch toy and a longdistance retrieval. My dog goes through full size Nylabones in about 2 months and has yet to chew through this toy. Make sure you get the right size they seem smaller in real life than they did online.

Still Holds Up After 7 months! So I bought this for my German Shepherd puppy when we first brought him home at 8 weeks because he tore right through most of his toys including the Puppy Kong. We have now gone through his very sharp puppy teeth and he now has all his powerful adult teeth and he hasn't even dented the thing. I love this Kong and so does he. I can fill it with all kinds of stuff to keep him entertained. Now he's over seven months and it's still going strong.
Great dog toy very durable. Very durable dog toy. I have a bull mastiff who destroys toys in minutes. And some how this product is still around today. I'd buy 2 more but dont need to because this one is so strong.
The toy? Meh! The peanuit butter. Ahhhh! Our Tess is a 70 pound tooth carrier. She'll chew to pieces anything she can get in her mouth in minutes. But this toy is lasting simply because she's not that interested in it unless it's full of peanut butter which she licks up in 5 or 6 minutes. Therefore not much in play value at least for her. But 3 stars because otherwise it does pretty much what it's advertised to do. A short piece of garden hose stuffed with a treat might serve as well.
excellent! I have a pitbull/basset hound mix who destroys any toy you give her. At one point i thought about just giving her $20 bills to chew on because of how fast i would waste money on toys labeled tough and durable. So far this has lasted her 2 months and its still going strong! I would highly recommend this to any one who has a powerful chewerat home. From now on i will only buy kong extreme toys for her.
24 hours We had this KONG Extreme for less than 24 hours and our 50 lb. Lab chewed it to shreds. The purchase from Amazon was a great experience but the product was terrible.

Lasted Exactly 1 Year with Pit Bull It took our pit exactly 1 year to destroy this kong. He was so proud when he finally destroyed it.But next time I'm ordering the extra large size.
destroyed within 30 minutes I purchased this for a small Pit Bull who weighs around 50 lbs and I haven't found anything she's interested in other than rope toys which she shreds and swallows. A couple of treats were placed inside she was excited to have the new toy and after she'd played with it a bit she ripped open the bottom and enjoyed the treats. The extreme KONG is now useless. It would probably be ok for one of my Min Pin or Rat Terrier fosters but not for many that fall into the weight range for this toy.
Great toy This thing seems indestructable. My dog chews on it and throws it around the house. I tried putting the treats in it but my dog had too much trouble getting them out. I now put yogurt in it and freeze it for a while. When I need to go somewhere I put it in the crate with my dog. It gives her an activity and lasts for quite a while. When she plays with it outside of her crate it is fun to watch. She will drop it on the floor and it will begin to roll. It goes in circles and my dog seems to be fascinated in watching it roll. Overall a good buy for the dog.
Kong It was bought at Ross Dress for Less for 2.99. If you are going to buy your stuff from there and resell it at least take off the price tag. my dog won't even go near it. it smells and taste like a tire. even when it is loaded with the treats he loves. at least the kong from the actual distributor or pet store doesn't smell or taste like tire.

She does choose to chew on this over her new kong so she definitely likes it. If your dog can take pieces out of the black kong this toy isn't going to hold up either. The fabric is tough enough to last for multiple plays and tugs of war. The stretchy quality of the fabric made the toy easy to grasp and play fetch with my dog. I believe I got ripped off because it shows four items and the title has multiple. Cute but bad squeekers! Firstly..they come with too many tags and unnecessary packaging in my opinion. My little dog at first was so excited about this but after a few minutes of trying to get it to squeak you could see the disappointment on her little face.
