  • I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so excellent! I love the fact that it takes my dog more than 30 seconds to down his biscuit and he has fun with it. I feel like it does a better job cleaning his teeth when he has to take more time. Also you can get the refill buscuits cheaply at Walmart. I am going to order an extra as a spare because sometimes I have trouble hunting it down.
Good toy This purchase was to replace a toy that lasted several years. Good toy and great transaction! Would definitely use this company again.
My dog is not destroying it but not chewing it either My dog destroys toys. She is less than 50 pounds but can destroy even a Kong. She is now on an XL Extreme Kong and has taken some little chunks out of this. This football gets licks and attention when I put peanut butter in it. I can use it to distract her for quite a while if I stuff treats into the pocket but it isn't a toy she goes to find or carry around otherwise. It is very durable and serves a purpose which is to distract her when I need it and make her happy in her crate when we need to be gone for a little while.
Premier football Already own one for my Yorkie and I had to order another one because she is able to hold her Dura Bones better while chewing on them. Perfect size for her.
Great treat holder My 45lb. dog didn't care much for this toy until I stuck a wolfsize Nylabone Edible Nylabone Healthy Edibles Regular Size Beef Flavored Dog Bone Chew in the opening. Suddenly he gives it the attention previously reserved for rawhide. The football has a very strong grip and it was difficult for me to wedge the treat all the way in there but by the same token the dog can't get it out easily. He bit off the treat until it was flush with the toy surface and has spent the past hour chomping on and licking the football. The secondrate biscuits I stuck in the toy at first didn't get this reaction so it's got to be a really tasty treat. We have only had this toy for two days will update if it turns out to be disappointing.EDIT Three and a half months later the combination of Busy Buddy football + wolfsize Nylabone Durable Durable Chew Original Flavor ' Wolf 5.25' is my dog's favorite chew toy. The football provides a handle for him to grip with his paws while he gnaws on the end of the Nylabone. Previously he didn't much like the Nylabone. The material of the football shows some wear & tear at the thin part between the two slots but it doesn't look like it will break any time soon.
Not that great FOOT BALL WAS VERY HARD RUBBER but my black Lab had pieces off instantly. Would not recomend it for agressive chewers.
Not even close I have a Border Collie mix he's 50 lbs and within 5 minutes he chewed both corners off of the football.
Not for a heavy Chewer I have what you call an extreme Brittany. He is young and chews heavily. The first time I gave this to him with a treat in it he ripped out big chunks. If you have an agressive chewing dog get an extreme Kong. At least they last a few months before Jake chews through them.
football I purchased this one for a friend of mine. Both of of my Labs have one and they love them. We had ours for 6 years still in pretty good shape. My friend says her lab loves it. Shed gives it to him when he is in his crate when she is at work and when she is sleeping. She works 3rd shift. Keeps him busy so he will let her sleep during the day.
I was hoping for better I purchased this toy after reading all the positive reviews. My 9 month old pitbull started chewing pieces off of her black kong and I needed something even stronger. Unfortunately this football isn't it. She was able to chew off little pieces the first day I gave it to her. I am glad that only small pieces come off but two weeks later she has chewed through to where the treats are held in place. She does choose to chew on this over her new kong so she definitely likes it. If your dog can take pieces out of the black kong this toy isn't going to hold up either. If your dog can't get through the kong I would definitely try this.
