    • Still Holds Up After 7 months! So I bought this for my German Shepherd puppy when we first brought him home at 8 weeks because he tore right through most of his toys including the Puppy Kong. We have now gone through his very sharp puppy teeth and he now has all his powerful adult teeth and he hasn't even dented the thing. I love this Kong and so does he. I can fill it with all kinds of stuff to keep him entertained. Now he's over seven months and it's still going strong.
    Great dog toy very durable. Very durable dog toy. I have a bull mastiff who destroys toys in minutes. And some how this product is still around today. I'd buy 2 more but dont need to because this one is so strong.
    The toy? Meh! The peanuit butter. Ahhhh! Our Tess is a 70 pound tooth carrier. She'll chew to pieces anything she can get in her mouth in minutes. But this toy is lasting simply because she's not that interested in it unless it's full of peanut butter which she licks up in 5 or 6 minutes. Therefore not much in play value at least for her. But 3 stars because otherwise it does pretty much what it's advertised to do. A short piece of garden hose stuffed with a treat might serve as well.
    excellent! I have a pitbull/basset hound mix who destroys any toy you give her. At one point i thought about just giving her $20 bills to chew on because of how fast i would waste money on toys labeled tough and durable. So far this has lasted her 2 months and its still going strong! I would highly recommend this to any one who has a powerful chewerat home. From now on i will only buy kong extreme toys for her.
    24 hours We had this KONG Extreme for less than 24 hours and our 50 lb. Lab chewed it to shreds. The purchase from Amazon was a great experience but the product was terrible.
    great entertainer This product is ideal for German Shepherds who have a knack for destroying things. This toy lasts longer than any other on the market.
    Lasted Exactly 1 Year with Pit Bull It took our pit exactly 1 year to destroy this kong. He was so proud when he finally destroyed it.But next time I'm ordering the extra large size.
    destroyed within 30 minutes I purchased this for a small Pit Bull who weighs around 50 lbs and I haven't found anything she's interested in other than rope toys which she shreds and swallows. A couple of treats were placed inside she was excited to have the new toy and after she'd played with it a bit she ripped open the bottom and enjoyed the treats. The extreme KONG is now useless. It would probably be ok for one of my Min Pin or Rat Terrier fosters but not for many that fall into the weight range for this toy.
    Great toy This thing seems indestructable. My dog chews on it and throws it around the house. I tried putting the treats in it but my dog had too much trouble getting them out. I now put yogurt in it and freeze it for a while. When I need to go somewhere I put it in the crate with my dog. It gives her an activity and lasts for quite a while. When she plays with it outside of her crate it is fun to watch. She will drop it on the floor and it will begin to roll. It goes in circles and my dog seems to be fascinated in watching it roll. Overall a good buy for the dog.
    Kong It was bought at Ross Dress for Less for 2.99. If you are going to buy your stuff from there and resell it at least take off the price tag. my dog won't even go near it. it smells and taste like a tire. even when it is loaded with the treats he loves. at least the kong from the actual distributor or pet store doesn't smell or taste like tire.
