Love my gutted bird! We have three smalltomedium dogs and every toy we have ever gotten for them they have proceeded to rip it open and spread stuffing all over the floor. No telling how much of it they ate. Now they have the ideal toy with this one. No stuffing to pull out and a squeaker that is very securely bound in there to drive me nuts with.
Take the eyes off!!! This is the beaver version.The dog won't be here until tomorrow which is good. It gives me time to make thetoy safe!!TYPICAL CHINA don'tcareabouttheenduser. The little felt ?? black spots for eyes are held in place by a sewn on #11 or 12 seed bead. Nothing I want my dog to swallow whether it is plastic or glass. A seam ripper or Xacto will cut the thread. Anything that would be unsafe for a child is unsafe for MY dog!!This is NOT as pictured. The tail is not quilted at all which may have made it more durable. We'll see.Update He's a Blue Heeler. Initially he wanted nothing to do with it. When he went for it it was a great fetch toy. His first bite on the head eliminated the squeaker in the head. The one in the tail still works. But the squeak doesn't interest him anyway.
Dog toy My dog loved it the moment he saw it. Two bad it only lasted a couple of hours before the insides were all out. It was worth buying it.
Terrible quality lasted less than 5 minutes My German Shepherd LOVES her other Skinneeez toys so I thought I'd try this one. For some reason this chicken is built differently than the others. The others are indestructible but with this chicken it was completely destroyed and in four separate pieces within minutes literally. Complete waste of money.
I was disappointed but my dog wasn't I was rather disappointed with the chicken when I opened it but my chow chow loves this thing.He has a basket of toys to choose from yet every night he picks this silly chicken.The squeakier quit working some time ago. He has played with it just about every day since he got it for Christmas.
Perfect for a Pup who Loves socks My dog LOVES socks. In turn he is slowly turning all of his toys into socks ripping out the stuffing and playing with the shell of the animal. SO this you was PERFECT. He did rip off the roosters eyes first day but the rest of it is holding it's own and he loves to throw it up in the air and run after it. The squeaker has almost died as well lasted about 3 weeks. It's a great toy for my dog.
I know you meant well Within 5 minutes of my bichon getting her new toy she went into destruction mode. Has to get the squeaky out! She chewed until she got into the lining. I so appreciate that the squeaker is well sewn in a mesh sleeve and well into the seams so I could grab it before she got to the plastic squeaker! Also there is no stuffing for her to digest.I took out the second squeaker but now she in not interested. . Well made product but not for my pup. 5 stars for safety. Zero stars for my fickle dog. The only thing she has enjoyed for more than a year were AKC products but even then.she killed the mallard rejected the hedgehog but loved her bunny. I guess we will get a new AKC bunny.

We Are Happy! What I have learned about dog toys is that what works for one dog may not work for another. It is always funny to me to read someone write that their dog destroyed a toy so it must be poor quality and another person can review the same toy and their destructive dog left this one alone! I truly believe that many toys are just on a dog to dog basis.That being said this toy is great for my puppy Sky! We have the chicken and she loves it! I think she loves the the squeaker is not the typical squeak. She cannot get enough of this toy. When she first got it she took it around the apartment with her everywhere. Now that we've had it for sometime it's still one of her go to toys. She hadn't torn it up for the longest time but eventually yes she put a hole in it.
my dog loves it The toy has a low key squeak. My dog seems to love this flat bird and spends a decent amount of time playing with it. The construction of the bird seems similar to other and has stood up to the last few days of abuse that my tiny dog has dished out.
