Dog loves it!! Bought my 1 year old golden mix this toy for something new and different. She loves all things nylabone so far and this was no different. She is a heavy chewer and soft toy killer. Immediately she knew it was for her when I opened the box. Yes you'll find pieces of the toy all over the house yes the ends may be rough and get dirty yes dogs may get bloody gums from chewing but if she needs to chew I'll deal with all that. Love nylabone and I will buy this again when this one gets too small.
Best bone for chewers If your dog is a chewer this one is perfect..Our golden has chewed through all other indestructable bones. This one is a must buy..
Reasonably Good Ends Do Rotate We have not had the problem of the ends popping off as noted by another reviewer but we did discover early on that the ends do rotate. So far though so good with our 7 month old GSD. Her favorite way to enjoy this toy and to keep her fully occupied for a good while is with peanut butter spread in the grooves. 30 minutes of licking guaranteed!The ends are showing typical Nylabone wear from chewing after a month or so but the orange middle section is hardly dented. At the moment we see no reason not to buy another when this one is enjoyed up.
Chocolate Lab's Christmas Wishlist We continue to buy this chew toy for our dog because he loves to chew and play. He'll chew it everyday sometimes he wants to play with it then he'll fall asleep on it. He picks it up tips his head back so that gravity keeps the chew toy in his mouth while he chews. Pretty smart dog! It's one of his favorites so he's getting another one for Christmas. I recommend it to any doglovers who have dogs that chew and who wants their dogs to keep their teeth clean.
Big waste of money I bought one of each size for my three dogs. A doberman pincher a jack russell & a pomapoo. None of my dogs will touch these bones unless I put peanut butter on them. And than they will only lick the peanut butter off and that's it. Big waste of money. But then why would they like them they are just a big hunk of plastic.
Dog is TOTALLY disinterested. I got this for my dog with anxiety chewing issues along with a variety of other toys and this thing is rock hard and totally tasteless. She has never paid it a lick of attention.
Great product This bone was great for my 90 lb labrador retreiver. He LOVES it! We have had great experience with the Nylabone products that we have purchased and this is no exception.
Dog Lovers with Puppies Chewers The Nylabone Proaction Dog Dental Chew for Large Dogs was a great investment for me. I have two large dogs a German Sheppherd Mix and a Golden Retriever who both love chewingon these sturdy toy bones. The price on Amazon was better than pet store prices too.
Made in China Just as a warning unlike most other Nylabone products this bone is made in China. I don't buy any chew toys made in a country without regulatory standards China and therefore will be returning this item. Big let down.
Bone of the Month Club! Our Lab loves these bones. Unfortunately he doesn't care much for the ends just chews the orange middles. I don't expect a dog chew to last for months. Several weeks is good! Hank is a rescue dog who had nasty looking teeth when he became part of our family three years ago. Nylabones in their various forms made his teeth gleam with health within a few months.The price of these bones has gone down quite a bit recently and I ordered two.
