my dog loves it I am concerned about it breaking. The flashing light definitely gets my dogs attention and she loves chasing it. Once caught though I am very nervous about her being able to break this. It should have been made with a more giving plastic. I have noticed cracks in it already after 1 day so if you dog is a chewer skip this one.I plan on putting it in a larger think like a hamster/gerbal ball to prevent it from splintering in her mouth.
Fun & Exercise This was a Christmas present for my friend's scotty. She loves this ball. Gives her hours of play time and exercise.
Very Hard Plastic Not A Chew Toy I pondered this purchase for a while before placing my order. The lack of a significant description from amazon e.g. material size battery type made the purchase a little risky. But I ordered it anyway for lack of better options online.I had hoped it would be a semihard to semisoft rubberlike material that would be forgiving enough to allow me to toss the ball out into the park and have my dog be able to find it easily.Unfortunately the material is a very hard plastic. One that would surely shatter if thrown or bounced onto say concrete.
Ball is a Choking Hazard to Dogs. The Small Slinky Ball is not meant to be a chewable toy for pets. It has a very hard surface and will cause injury if thrown incorrectly but the biggest danger lies in the fact that it is definitely a serious choking hazard for dogs.You will do much better with the Sergeant's® Powzertm Flash 'n Dash Ball.This ball is chewable and quite durable. My dog has been playing daily with one for more than two years.
