Great SAFE alternative to regular sticks I bought two of these at ClickerExpo this year and both of Malinois LOVE them. We have two safestix but of course one dog always wants the one that the other one has! These are great products well made hardy easy to throw. I'm planning on buying a smaller one to work on a better retrieve with one of my dogs. I have multiple friends who have had accidents with their dogs playing with regular tree sticks resulting in animal emergency room visits. Gald that there's this alternative for them.
Not impressed My dogs love to chew sticks and I thought this would be safer as advertised. I have several other kong products and they are basically indistructable. This product however is very poor. They advertise that it is braided to promote chewing and then when you get the package it states it is not a chew too. What's the point then? If it's supposed to be safer than chewing a stick you would think your dog could chew it. My dog distroyed this thing in 2 bites. It breaks into a bunch of pieces very easily and is not made of the normal Kong rubber material. Kong should just make a stick out of their regular tough rubber material.
