great toy.but not indestructabled Been looking for a tough toy for my beaglepit mix puppy 8 mo he eats tennis balls..this toy he had the squeaker out in less than 5 min and the felt off within half an hourbut he still chews on it and plays with it. I thought it was dead at first but he loves it he just 'customized' it.
poor contruction Our puppy chewed off the yellow exterior fabric the first week. The whistle was pulled out the second week. I should have read the previous reviews.
great toy for my dog I don't normally leave reviews but my bulldog loves this toy. She normally destroys everything but hasn't been able to do any damage to this toy. It gets quite gross from saliva but that's about all.

Kong Donut Squeaker I bought this for a German Shepherd. He had a great time playing fetch with it and squeaking it as he ran. Just like any tennis ball the dog peeled the skin off. We still play with this toy but it has a rubbery texture now since the skin is gone. Not bad.
Lasts exceptionally long I have a German Shepherd who isn't very destructive of her toys but she is still a GSD and most toys just can't take the abuse. Even nonsqueaking tennis balls lose their color and surface after a few days of chewing. This toy and a large Kong Air Dog jack are the only things that have lasted more than a week.
My Dog loves it! We have two of these donuts one is about 4 years old squeaker no longer works and the other is at least 2 years old squeaker still works the fuzz is mainly gone from the older one and the fuzz is pealing from the newer one! My dog is a 55 lb German Shep/pit bull mix that loves to retreive. These are her favorite toys they are durable and she loves to run squeaking the one that still squeaks. The toys do stay outside we have indoor and outdoor toys in our fenced in backyard all winter and summer long unless she carries them inside with her after playing which she does on occasion.
Very Fun Toy This is a terrific toy. My 15 month old Brittany is mesmerized by the action of this toy. She carries it around she throws it down the stairs and retrieves it and just generally finds this to be an object of great fascination. She is very good at destroying toys this toy appears to be resistant to all of her best efforts of destruction. This can be thrown and bounces in the most peculiar fashion. This is a good toy and I recommend it.
Lab favorite! I order one of these ever holiday season for my lab. He gets a couple of new toys every holiday just like my kids. He loves these donuts more than any other toy he has.and he has a lot of toys. The squeaker only lasts about 10 min. but thats OK he loves the toy with or without a squeaker.
