Best dog toy everREALLY! We have a Pitbull/German Shepherd mix and a pure breed Australian Shepherd. Both dogs are 40 plus pounds and have literally destroyed toys intended for horses in their pursuit of play time happiness. This little flexible Planet Dog Orbee bone is by far their favorite and has survived over two years of daily tug of war general chewing and treat stuffing goodness. I would highly recommend this toy to anyone who is tired of buying countless chew toys only to be disappointed thirty minutes later when they're in pieces. It takes a lot to impress me but this dog toy has done it! On top of everything else this product is made in the U.S.A.
Great toy for small dogs! These Orbees have to be the greatest toys for dogs! they are minty smelling and hold up well against tough chewers.They get played with almost every single day and I have not had to replace any of them yet and some are over 2 years old.
Destroyed in 5 mins! I am one of the ones with an intense chewer in the family. The only toy he cant destroy is the planet dog ball. Our dog is a pitbull/dalmation mix and he SHREDDED this toy in 5 minutes of playtime.
Had it for years! Someone gave us this toy right before we actually got our dog from the breeder now almost five years ago! We have a teeny yorkie only 5 pounds but don't underestimate those sharp strong little teeth. She likes playing with bigdog toys so we usually don't worry about buying tiny bones for her.She destroys most of her soft toys but she's been gnawing on this same exact bone since puppyhood and hasn't done a bit of damage. The minty flavor fades eventually but this bone is still in top shape and is one of her absolute favorite toys.
NOT Tuff!! I bought one of these for my dogs at Christmas time. They loved it it lasted 6 months of rough play before it started to split and break up. So I bought another one in July. It lasted 1 week. I thought I had found a good toy for my dogs maybe it was just defective I don't know. I would like to have another like the last my dogs were dissapointed they really enjoyed playing with it.
Best dog toy ever I have a golden retriever puppy and he chews everything. He has destroyed every dog toy in less then 10 minutes until we got him this bone. Not only is it indestructible but he LOVES this toy. He never puts it down and chews on it for hours. We have had this toy for almost two years now and it is great. I have recommended it to other dog owners and given it as a gift and everyone loves it too.
Light Duty It started off well but my very active lab started ripping off chunks after 20 minutes. Usually Planet Dog does the trick but the chew ratings that are not always posted online are very important.
Not for strong chewers This toy looks and feels durable however I do not recommend it if your dog is a strong chewer. Our Lab chewed the end off of the bone in about 5 minutes. It would be a great toy for dogs with weaker jaws.
Don't Buy For a Serious Chewer Based on a review that stated Planet Dog advised them to return a chewed up bone for a sturdier choice I purchased this bone for a serious chewer. When my dog destroyed the bone in less than 20 minutes I emailed Planet Dog and have not gotten a response. If your dog destroys toys DO NOT BUY THIS BONE! Total waste of money. I wish I had gotten the option to exchange instead of NO RESPONSE.
