    • Great Service This is such a cute toy but my Aussie had the cover off the ball part in like 5 minutes. He LOVED the squeaky ball and ran through the house and the yard like crazy. Unfortunately it led a short life as he had to see what was inside this ball and it just didn't stand a chance.
    Didn't stand up to our dog Serious design flaw in this is that the fabric is open at the bottom. Had read all the reviews and needed something durable for our 16# doxie shark with fur who chews thru everything. He had the cover off in less than 5 min and after 10 I had to take the rubber part away from him since he was breaking off small pieces and trying to swallow them.We both liked the cool sound it briefly made. If it had been sealed maybe it could have lasted a few hours or even the whole day.I have since sewed a rubber kong into the fabric and he's having fun with it but it doesn't squeak.
    Great toy This thing really freaked out my great dane puppy. After about 15 minutes of barking at it and poking it with his nose to be sure it was safe it became one of his favorite toys. I did away with the cover because he likes to shake and fling his toys around and the cover fell off way to often. On the first one the stopper for the egg squeaker fell inside of the toy rendering it useless.
    Destroyed in 5 minutes We have a 1 year old lab. I keep trying to find a good solid chew toy that lasts longer then 5 minutes. The dog loved the hedgehog and had one ear off in about 1 minute shredded in 2. It took all of 3 minutes for the rubber egg to have a large hole in the side. Once there was a hole I took it away. I' sure in another minute the entire egg would have been shreded. Still looking for the toy that will last more then 5 minutes.
    Love this toy. Our dog is a year old this week. She a shepard/doberman mix and weighs 66 lbs and growing.She has had a Hard Boiled Sheep for about 7 months now. I had purchased another Kyjen toy and she totaled it in less then 24 hours. I wrote to Kyjen explaining I did not expect a toy to last forever but I did think it should last more than 24 hours. They sent me a lovely email the next day apologizing and asked if I would take a replacement of their choosing. I said yes and they sent me the Hard Boiled Sheep. To say my dog loves it would be an understatement. She plays with it numerous times every day.She loves to lay on her back and make it squeak.
    Not Tough At All We bought this toy because our 5 month old hound was gutting all her stuffed toys. We thought this would last longer. Within 5 minutes of opening it she had torn off all the legs ears and torn off the skin leaving opnly the ball. Worst money spent.
    kyjen toys rock!!!! i purchased a combo of kyjen hard boiled toys after popeye my english bulldogfell in love with the squeaker mat toys. hueythe hedgehog's elastic was looser on the bottom than the lamb and the penguin the logo tag was a bit different and the squeaker squawked instead of squeaked like their other products which led me to believe it may have been a fake or just outdated or one of their earlier hard boiled animals that's now on clearance since the logo changed. huey is the one i let him play with first and so far like the squeaker mats it takes a licking and keeps on kicking so i guess it must not be a counterfeit..lol. popeyeis 10 months old now and has been a destructive aggressive chewer since he was 4 months old. he usually shreds/dismantles/destroys most toys including those by nylabone and kong. so far kyjenall 6 of his kyjen toys are still like new or slightly used. i highly recommend kyjen for your aggressive chewer!! i wash them 13 times a month and so far he hasn't torn any stitchingpulled out stuffing ripped fabric or put holes in any squeakers or the hard boiled blue egg centers.
    Dog's Best Friend I've spoiled my 4 month old Samoyed puppy and bought him probably 18 or 19 toys this is by far his favorite. I think it makes him feel real tough to shake it and fling it around while it makes it low grunting noise. Bought Huey Hedgehog as well because he seemed to have longer hair and I though my baby boy might like that but he prefer's Boris' wings and antanae. Would and probably will buy again if he ever manages to wear this thing out.
    One great dog toy! I own a Jack Russell mix who takes getting the squeak out of squeaker toys very seriously. As a matter of fact she may hold several regional and national records for being able to desqueaker a toy in record time. The Kyjen Hard Boiled Softies was finally the one that stumped her. She loves this toyand it has lasted for weeks and I'm hoping will continue to last!! I highly recommend this toy especially for those dogs who are hard on regular squeaker toys. This is the best I have found.
    Awesome!!! I have 3 of these and 7 big dogs. With Dobermans and Rotties you need durable toys and these standupTo all the torture they can dish out. My first one is 3 yrs old and after washing the cover is like a brand new toy. You won't be disappointed!! I gifted my brother's bulldog with this one and he absolutely loves it.
